I want mixed kids!!

      The nine day chinese new year vacation is over. This year, Japanese aunt back during the new year vacation. Tess back from China and Melaine back from U.S for the chinese new year. It’s great to have the family reunion. Indeed, the bird of passagers still miss where they come from the most.  The world is wide, however, something never changes by the distances.

     

      Since Tess and Melaine are in the Southern Taiwan during the chinese new year, therefore, I only can meet them after work. It reminds me something when I was young. I told my parents “I can’t do this.I can’t do that either. I wish I could grow up as soon as possible.” My parents just laugh and now I knew why they laughed. I really missed the time when Tess, Melaine and us are all students. We went to visit around whole day everytime their family come to visit us. Now, we only can humblely enjoy precious few hours on chatting before the next working day comes even they fly thousand miles back to see us.

 

         When Tess came to visit us, it’s one week before the chinese new year. For a point of view of a sales representative, I will call this week a “Dinner festival”. I ate dinner after dinner and drank wines after wines. I’m glad I didn’t mis-spell my customer’s name by his competitor’s name after I drunk.  Everyday is very late from work when I was in my apartment. It’s hard to abstract the whole stories of  a year told in few hours especially when you talk to someone close to you. Maybe, next year we can have more time to be together like what I said last year.

       Melaine comes to visit us the last day of the chinese new year. It’s my first time to see the new member of our family, Matthew.  During their trip, I only saw him awaked for few minutes. In my memory, he is always fall of sleep with his official “peaceful saint cross pose”. It reminds me a painting of the “saint infant”. But, when he is awaked, he is so cute and handsome. My lovely “Saint Matthew”.

       Catherine changes a lot after she grew up even we just didn’t see each other for two years. She gets more and more pretty after those two years. After I saw her, I really believe even God has his owned preference. I’m sure he takes double or triple time on her than others.  Melaine said she was always good at getting good reputation when she worked. However, she thinks the most difficult job in the world is being someone’s parents.

         The tough part isn’t the job itself. It’s you still need to do a good job no matter what mood you had. It’s the responsibility for whole life.  No vacation, no return policy, no regret and no quit. She also said “However, the happiness and joy is something you’ve never can find or buy in the world, too.” Great  speech!! Plus, a beautiful, smart  and handsome kids like this”. Count on me. I’m glad to been tortured with smile. I WANT MIXED KIDS, TOO!!
